Pros

The people were all friendly, helpful, and most had been there a really long time. My manager was great to work for and didn't try to micro-manage. There was no 2nd shift, only 1st and 3rd so the workday started and ended early and you were home with family every evening.

Cons

I was only there a short time before they laid me off. Quality is not taken seriously and Operations tries to bully QA into shipping non-conforming product constantly because it will "be ok". Everyone is very concerned with money and costs - too much so. Their priorities are all about what costs for the company and not about making their customers happy. Benefits were awful compared to any company I had worked previously and constantly reminded how luck I should feel.

Pros

Great Product and some genuinely good people.

Cons

Poor business management, old antiquated systems, need to diversify business model and customers in order to become profitable. Knee jerk reactions and layoffs.

My experience started off negative and then ended neutrally.

Pros

The company is very pro-active when considering work-live balance activities. Time was granted to attend to serious family needs without forcing me to take vacation time. The compensation is average to above average depending on what department you work on. No formal education is needed for advancement.

Cons

The company is very hostile to any one coming in from the outside of the company. The culture can be very negative and encourages employee sabotage, divisive techniques, and dissension as a way to get ahead. Promotions are given based on how the management team likes you, not on skill.
