Lots of changes in the last couple of years in pediatric offices, not all offices do things the same way and aren't friendly to others in the company, including those who are apart of their own office. There can be cattiness between departments, which is disheartening coming from a bunch of grown adults over the age of 30 (most of them). Although PTO policies have gotten much better since I started, I still wish there were separate "SICK" and "PTO" and wish the attendance policy was different - can be hard to manage with sick kids and attendance policy.

Doctors always run an hour behind causing nurses to have stay until 6 pm most nights. They do not support their staff and when problems arise management will sweep issues under the rug. Favoritism is huge here. They do not value their nursing staff or front staff. The only time they "try" to help solve issues is when they think an employee is about to leave.
