All of ProAce's MANY problems begin and end with the CEO. He is the worst kind of fool: a fool who thinks he hung the moon. Google "Narcissistic Personality Disorder"...that's him. He's cheap (he'll pay for a bigshot office, but charges employees for soda and buys the worst coffee), doesn't understand technology, demands absurdly fast solutions, and blames everyone but himself for everything. He's a joke, and everyone working with him knows it.

The company lacks any sort of leadership or management. This might be the only software shop in the world with any project management or QA experience. Projects routinely go over budget or get canned by the owner or they just get forgotten until clients get annoyed. Knowledge of software and s/w development practices is non-existent. The number of staff revolving through the place is crazy and owner seems to randomly fire people. There's no focus on types of project - they'll take anything that has a check attached.
