Pros

- No real pro’s, that’s why no one stays

Cons

- Leadership openly criticise and belittle people - Company pretends its a “software platform” and it definitely isn’t - Business just cares about acquisitions but no other strategy in place - Very high expectations for staff to perform under poor leadership and with low pay

Pros

Remote working, which was 100% the case until they made it hybrid for absolutely zero reason other than justifying office costs. High quality laptop with Headset with all the necessary programs installed was provided on loan. IT staff are very helpful in setting you up. Online training was also surprisingly effective. Some benefits are also included. Management also saw the need for extra staff and hired more people to help with the high volume work, which was a step in the right direction. Job itself is fairly straightforward and not too difficult to learn as long as you are computer-literate. If the company does well then a monthly performance bonus (inconsistent yet appreciated) may be added to your pay.

Cons

Can get very busy with high volume work and you are more than expected to commit to unpaid overtime to complete it. Was told only after starting work that you must pretty much plan your life around the "end of month" period where team stays and works extra hours for no pay. They would rather return the favour by letting you finish early or start later on a different day and have someone else complete your work instead of actually paying you for your time. Annual leave can't be approved "closer to the end of the month" either and you can forget about getting 2 weeks off in a row to see family. Only one week at a time is allowed.

Pros

Great team with amazing colleagues. Spurs of abnormally busy periods but gets through as a team. Great internal opportunities.

Cons

The job is very monotonous, but this is the same as any other admin job.
