Pros

Depending on the portfolio, the work isn't very difficult or challenging. There are some days when it is very slow, which is nice for a remote position. Pay is good for entry-level. Company is growing fast and hopefully changing for the better as they work out growing pains.

Cons

Training is very limited, and you are thrown in to learn everything on your own. There is a huge variance depending on the team/portfolio you're assigned to. Some are very low maintenance and some are a mess. Managers are extremely busy and don't hold regular check-ins, leaving you to handle issues that are out of your depth. They expect you to check sites on weekends/vacations. For the Analyst position, there is currently no path for promotion/advancement. Overall job is easy but tedious, boring and doesn't really grow many useful skills. Good first job out of college, or foot in the door to Solar but not where you want to build a career.

While this review is a bit dated by the time we could respond, we do feel QE Solar pays a great wage compared to experience coming in the door. It also helps for candidates to know your career's pay scale for the area you live! Glassdoor and other online resources can help you understand what's fair and comparable for your level of experience, too. There's a ton of opportunity for overtime, especially in the summer when the daylight hours are longer!

Pros

QE Solar is growing and there are a lot of opportunities to join from entry level to more advanced technical, electrical, or customer-facing roles. Management is engaged, knowledgeable, and involved. The pay structure is very good, and we often find opportunities for overtime or bonuses depending on your position. Safety is a priority and field employees receive PPE and annual budget for clothing and boots. The team works hard and gets along well.

Cons

The workforce is mostly remote, so you may not interact face to face with other employees often.
