Pros

Most co-workers and managers were great to work with.

Cons

They hire unqualified people and you end up pulling the load for them. Best, most qualified employees quit or were fired. You're treated differently (negatively) if you don't attend the same church as managers and other employees. Pay is terrible, and everyone is lumped under the same job title to justify it. Owner family are rude and unprofessional. CEO randomly takes away vacation and benefits.

Pros

Very little. I got the hours I needed but that’s it.

Cons

Management is abusive. One particular person on staff at my store was the abuser, but I was fired when she pushed me over the edge and she is still working there. I was literally held hostage by this woman, refusing to let me leave because she would actually have to do her job. She spent most of her shift standing around talking smack about white people and texting her boyfriend. She made inappropriate sexual comments and condoned male staff showing off boy part pictures to female crew. When I started standing up for myself, she told the rest of the crew that I was crazy. I was constantly made fun of by this woman for being autistic. She also let me know more than one occasions that it was not OK, I was Jewish. I have not been this traumatized by a job in a couple of decades. Also, when I tried to text the general manager about the problems in the store with the assistant manager, she told me she was sick and did not have time to deal with petty problems at the job. I was not given the help I needed in dealing with the toxic situation with the assistant manager. It should also be mentioned that I burned my hand because there was a hole in the oven that they were used to replace and then there was no first aid kit to clean the wound. I had to spend my own money on first aid products to take care of a burn because they didn’t think it was worth having a first aid kit in the store. I was essentially fired because of how I reacted to the abusive manager, who was chasing me around the store. This store cares more about its numbers than its customers experience. Also, it should be pointed out that I’m only human. I cannot pass out food and take orders on two lanes while some teenager just cashes people out and stands around playing on his phone because he’s a favorite of the assistant manager. The way the assistant manager would guilt trip me when I tried to leave after working a 10 hour shift is abusive. This is a hostile work environment.
