At least you get work experience in goverment projects
Pros
- Puff Pastries everyday at the office. - Good enviroment between developers. - Most project managers are easy to talk to. - No micromanagement ( if you don't work with certain people ). - You have a lot of work but most of the time is easy.
Cons
- Messy interview proccess. - They want you to track everything on Jira which is very time consuming. - HR runs behind you for everything, forcing you to take sick days even if you can WFH, you can feel that they don't trust employees that much and ask for proof of everything. - Severely understaffed, tight deadlines, everyone works overtime about 60-70% of the year. - Projects start out of thin air, there's no question if anyone has time to dedicate, you have to finish the project no matter what.
