Thank you for taking the time to share these comments. We've worked hard to build a culture at QuickPivot where any employee, at any level, can share their observations and concerns about any part of our business. We hope you felt empowered to share some of your specific product concerns with your manager or even directly with the product team. We want you to be part of the solution. We strive to make our products better, easier to use, more thoughtfully designed, and ideas for improvement are always welcome. We also strive to fairly compensate our talented team in this competitive Boston-based technology market. We encourage you to speak to your manager directly on this topic or to reach out to our HR lead, who can help you navigate the conversation.

    I worked at QuickPivot full-time

    Pros

    - Office of CEO - New version of Platform - Product team - ADA, the Data Science team - Services finally moving to AWS and relevant tech - a lot of good, hard working people at this company

    Cons

This only applies to Tech Services: - Understaffed - Not enough experience on team - Very few with any relevant tech experience - Low morale - High attrition - Huge tech debt - No lead engineers, just the inexperienced leading others. - people on Implementation projects frequently not given enough direction or time to complete tasks. - Most recent Architect just fled. - Software Engineering best practices not followed at all.

Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed to hear that the move to Burlington had a negative impact for you, even though we moved out of the city we hope the new office space is a place employees can enjoy working out of. To encourage this we have decided to provide a better work from home policy and office perks like free snacks and drinks. We are also in the process of implementing 360 degree performance reviews that allow for upward feedback, this will be ready to go for the next review cycle!
