This place is the most unorganized operation I have seen in my career. They are very misleading during the interview process, they sell a good story about serving food for kids however as being a part of the food industry for a few years, this place does not follow any GMP's. As being a manager there for a short period of time here is a list of thing I have noticed and given them an action plan to get process corrected.
- No FIFO process
- Products being received does not get labeled (hence FIFO process not being maintained)
- Food is constantly stored in incorrect locations
>Found apples in the freezer
> Sauce that should be frozen stored in Dry location
> no traceability of when the product was received
- Running a manufacturing facility through a POS system (NOT an ERP OR MRP) don't let them fool you
- Found a glitch in the system. Neither IT nor Senior Management addressed the issue, in fact the integrity of the employees' work was questioned. (provided them with screenshots and videos)
-other location pencil whip inventories.
> ex: one site report $148k worth of waste when a freezer broke down. However, they only carry $150k worth of inventory. hmmm.....
- No work/life balance at all. I would spend hours on weekends and after work figuring out issues with COGS
The list can honestly go on forever.
Trust me when I tell you don't waste your time at this archaic company, they will definitely give you the kool-aid during the interview process.
FYI: also found out after being hired, that the company has not reported any profits in the past 12 years in business.
