Pros

Okay here are five words.

Cons

They make you sign a 2 year contract, and then make you pay $20,000 USD to leave the contract if you want to end it early. This is modern day servitude. They also don't tell you about the fake resume you're require to use to help them land jobs with clients.

Pros

No pros to joining this company really >:(

Cons

If you look at the other reviews for this company, most of them are low effort and have 5 stars with little to no description of their experience at this company. You'll also have trouble finding new jobs in your career after leaving Rave, as they will ruin your reputation and career. More explained below. They seem legitimate at first, but then they make you sign a 2 year contract to lock you in to their company. If you try to break the contract, they make you pay TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20,000) to be released from the 2 year contract. The reason behind this is that they want to trap you in. They give you a fake resume after you finish their "training" 2 months into the job as they "bring you up to speed with the company". They PREY ON BOOTCAMP GRADS. They try to get a bunch of Junior Developers to sign their contract, and then they market these Junior Developers as Senior Developers with 5+ years of falsified experience. Of course, they never say anything about the fake resume they force you to use when you're signing onto the job or taking the offer. To help with the technical interviews and during the training, they have a REAL Senior iOS/Android Developer teach the new employees/fake Senior Developers how to code native apps. During interviews, they connect a second screen and wireless keyboard to your laptop so that the Senior Developer can see what's on your screen, and help with code challenges that pop up during interviews. During interviews with engineers at hiring companies, they make you put yourself on speaker so that the Rave Senior Developer can hear the questions that the hiring company is asking you. To answer those questions, the senior developer opens a small notepad window on your screen and types out the answer to you, as you read aloud the senior developer's answer to the technical interview question asked by the interviewer. FAKE GLASSDOOR AMD GOOGLE REVIEWS. To boost their ratings on Glassdoor and Google reviews, they make fake emails for their employees to apply to jobs with, stating that it's an internal employee email. However, they never give you access to these fake emails, as they are "managed by HR". They then use these fake emails to leave reviews on Glassdoor and Google. They also use these emails to apply to jobs on job board websites for their employees so that the emails are active and come off as a more legitimate email. In addition to the fake resume they give you mentioned above, they also use the fake email to create a fake LinkedIn profile for you so that you come off as more legitimate when recruiters try to research you. They make you take down your real LinkedIn's profile picture and change your real LinkedIn name to just your initials so that recruiters can't find your real LinkedIn when they try to search up your name on LinkedIn. They then put your profile picture on the fake LinkedIn account with falsified experience to match your falsified resume. MOHSIN KHAN, the CEO of the company, may seem very nice and friendly at first but don't be fooled by his friendly composure. One of my colleagues wanted to leave Rave after a year into their contract, and tried to argue their way out of the $20,000 2 year contract. Management, HR and Mohsin proceeded to withhold their paychecks, so they weren't paid for multiple weeks of work. This is WAGE THEFT. RUINED FOR LIFE. In addition, after my coworker left, they tried to apply to new jobs and companies with their real LinkedIn and real email, only to have the recruiters at prospective companies find his fake Rave email. You can imagine this did not look good on my coworker's end, and the recruiters questioned why there was a fake email with someone else's name attached to my coworker's real account. I can bet future employers will find out about my coworker's fake Rave email again and again, making it more difficult for them to apply to real jobs in the future.
