Pros

RPL treat you as more than just an employee, you are part of a family. If you show an interest in a new area of law, or would like to experience something new within the legal profession, RPL will do their very best to help you pursue this new chosen path. The work is varied, and if you have the drive to learn you can succeed at RPL.

Cons

You may have to work long hours at times, but no more than any other place of employment and this is often a personal choice to work such long hours.

Pros

I have been working at Reavis Parent for just under a year and cannot say enough positive things about the incredible people who work here. As a smaller firm, the work environment is very personable and supportive. I have been given every opportunity to grow my role in ways that play to my strengths and have been completely supported in other interest areas outside of work. And to top it off, the view is unbelievable! A fantastic place to work, with the smartest of professionals and most caring individuals.

Cons

None! I truly cannot think of one.

Pros

I've been with RPL for 2 years now and I could not ask for a better Employer. This boutique Law Firm will give you the opportunity to work independently with the Partners and to get an insight in some of the other legal fields which is great. Everyone is very helpful and supportive. I always felt motivated to further my knowledge in every field, from administration to legal work. The fact that RPL is not a huge corporate firm makes it more special, as everyone understands, respects and treats you like a person and not an employee. I also need to mention the amazing view of Midtown.

Cons

Being that RPL is a small firm, sometimes many deadlines need to be met at the same time which can get really stressful. Flexibility is key. You need to be willing to work hard and take criticism constructively. This is not necessarily negative as it will teach you to become a precise and good writer, to do deeper researches and to review your work carefully - this is beneficial not only at work.
