Pros

As a former clinician at Refresh Psychotherapy, I appreciated the flexibility and supportive environment. The supervisors and clinicians were collaborative and open to providing constructive feedback. The CEO was kind, respectful, and genuinely passionate about the mental health work we provided to clients. Even during the challenges of the pandemic, the management team was understanding and helpful. It was one of the best companies I’ve worked for; I only left to focus on medical needs and self-care as a new mom.

Cons

Honestly, there’s none I can think of. However, There’s always room for improvement, even in a company that strives to prioritize its staff and clients.

Why I Work At Refresh

Pros

I work at Refresh because I am treated with respect and dignity. I work here because management specifically the CEO encourages me to learn and grow. I work here because I'm valued and I am not made to feel irreplaceable. I work here because of the freedom I am given to treat my clients as individuals and not as cardboard cutouts. I work here because of the transparency that Keeley displays regarding running a small business, we are learning clinical skills and business skills. I work here because the CEO is the type of person to send you a congratulatory present when you are expecting and acknowledges that bereavement leave extends to fur babies and friends who became your chosen family. I work here because Keeley enters spaces with humility and a deep desire to see everyone do well! I know for a fact that she has silently supported staff members during the lowest points in their lives, even as she struggles with her health. It is what she has done and continues to do at Refresh is amazing. When I read the negative reviews that consistently single her out and defame her character it breaks my heart. So many of the people writing false reviews have benefitted from the blood sweat tears sleepless nights and sacrifices of the Refresh CEO. So many people were able to get their hours for their Internships, licenses, and their “C” bed as use of Refresh and what Keeley created. Refresh has fair salaries, whether you are full-time or FFS. I have given every job I've had 150% and I've not received the support acknowledgment and compensation I get at Refresh.

Cons

It's a wonderful company. The cons are the people who no longer work at Refresh and post negative baseless reviews. The cons are those who do not care about the impact their actions created during their tenure at the company and how they have made it their mission to negatively impact a company whose sole purpose is mental wellness. We live in the she of deep internet research. These reviews impact potential hires and clients looking for help.
