Pros

I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere I worked in. The team became like a second family to me and I felt my opinions were valued amongst the company. Regency cares a lot about providing their employees generous PTO, holidays, benefits, and opportunities to grow from within. Never had any problems with the company and would have loved to continue working there!

Cons

I expressed my distaste in turning to A.I. to manage leasing workload and genuinely feel it has caused the company less personal connection and human interaction with its prospects and residents. Too many mistakes needing corrected constantly when using A.I. that it became exhausting and frustrating for both sides.

Toxic Leadership

Pros

PTO and good bonuses at all levels which is nice.

Cons

The people at the top don’t care about the people below them even though they like to pretend that they do. It should tell you something when there has been so much turnover at the Director level. We felt it on the site level so I know it was even worse for them. They will work you into the ground and not care as long as you hit your numbers despite shifts in the market.

Regency Multifamily Response

We appreciate you expressing your feelings about your time with Regency and are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. Work-life balance is a priority we do not take lightly. As you noted, we have a generous PTO plan and while time off may be restricted during peak season to support our properties, we always encourage employees to use their PTO and get the time away that they need. Turnover at all levels is something we continuously strive to minimize and we are grateful for staff who have stepped up to go the extra mile when needed. Regency prides ourselves on being a team that comes together to ensure every property is successful. Celebrating our wins and showing appreciation to the employees who make those happen, is a foundational part of our culture. Everyone enjoyed a full, paid week off when our CEO closed all offices for the week of Christmas last year, in recognition of everyone's hard work during a particularly challenging year. This was announced at our annual Awards Banquet, a Regency sponsored, overnight celebration to show all of our employees that we care, and love to see them succeed. Additionally, we are glad that you pointed out our bonus opportunities, which are available at all levels, as another way we ensure that employees are rewarded for going above and beyond at Regency. We recognize that we are not the best fit for everyone and wish you the best in finding a company that better suits your needs.
