The job is not what was advertised on the Linkedin job AD. It is a door-to-door sales job for a milk company. Had I known this, I wouldn't have bothered going through a 2 week job interview process only to get to the un-boarding stage and find out that marketing is not at all focus but rather door-to-door sales. I've had to withdraw my application as this is not the job I was advertised and the role kept morphing into something I didn't want at every turn. In addition to this lack of transparency, it is a commission based role. Even getting the "minimum pay" requires you to make sales door-to-door. I don't want to sell products to people at their home like an Avon lady in the 80's, I want to work in marketing and creative campaign development. They should be upfront about what they are hiring for so that people who want these type of roles can apply and those who don't, don't have their time wasted. Also, the working hours were disclosed as 10am - 8pm. Upon further investigation, these hours are constantly changing, and travel could prolong it. This is a blatant misrepresentation of the role.
