Pros

They give you a weekly pay check

Cons

Hire people to check boxes even though they don’t know how to fix anything. Have a manager who isn’t qualified but shes part of a certain community so… Give out one sweatshirt and when you need a new one they make you turn in the old one. Non competitive pay for industry standards. 85% of techs don’t know what they’re doing and they cycle the good techs through all the call backs but don’t properly compensate the good techs. Zero merit in the work place. Have a board of directors that you’ll never meet but they decide your pay Have two people on the board of directors who are woke and are destroying the company. No Christmas party. Christmas bonus is not based off performance, only a weeks pay. No extra incentives to boost morale. Lowest work place morale of any company I’ve worked for. When good techs inevitably leave they will try to black list you from competing companies. Never have your yearly review done on time and when you ask why they make you feel like the bad guy. Zero work life-home life balance. Managers have no control and have to bow down to the board of directors. The office will have catered Christmas parties (paid for with the money techs make) but they won’t invite the techs to the parties. Make you do bad techs parts all the time which are never correct because most techs can’t properly screw in a light bulb here. 95% of the vans have 200k+ miles and constantly break down. Wawa calls 24/7 when you’re on call. Zero recognition for the good techs. Camera facing you in the van. They do not provide tools to do the job, not even an electrical meter. The entire industry knows this company as a bunch of bums, everyone looks at you like you’re a bum when you have a Remco shirt on.

Pros

Lots of PTO and holidays. Great people to work with.

Cons

Even the littlest nonintentional mistake can get you in a lot of trouble. Not much meaningful training for not so experienced. Lack of communication in company and department. Lots of traveling.
