Pros

Wide Product Selection: Tons of options for food, treats, toys, and accessories for dogs, cats, and small animals. Knowledgeable Staff: Employees are often pet lovers themselves and can give helpful recommendations. Frequent Sales and Loyalty Program: Great deals, price matching, and a rewards system that saves money over time. Clean and Pet-Friendly Environment: Stores are clean, organized, and welcoming to pets.

Cons

Product Availability Varies by Location: Not every store has the exact same stock, which can be frustrating. Busy at Peak Times: Can get crowded during evenings or weekends, sometimes with long lines.

Pros

Store level teams are amazing, love the day to day of it all and helping customers, obviously petting the dogs that come into the store. I was lucky enough to have a manager that advocated for me to the best of their ability.

Cons

For a company that is constantly increasing prices, raising average sales targets, putting the onus on store management for outreach and marketing, the pay is terrible. The expectation is that we are essentially personal shoppers working for minimum wage, it is straight up wage theft and labour exploitation of underemployed people. Private equity is running this organization into the ground.
