Literally everything else. The company used to be a decent place to work, but they got a new CEO, and their Operations manager is an absolute nightmare. There's a clique that includes the Operations manager, who is the manager over all three Operations departments, and the current managers over the individual operations departments, excluding the manager of Data Entry (she's great). They are commonly referred to as the witches coven, they will literally bully and make fun of employees if they decide they don't like you, and then if they can't find a reason to fire you, they will literally edit productivity records and time sheets to make up a reason to fire you. There was one woman that worked there who had to take a few days off work because her dad died, when she came back management started talking trash about her and making fun of her behind her back, she overheard them and reported them HR, the problem didn't get resolved, it got worse. They started purposely making fun of her within ear shot and within a couple weeks they made up an excuse to fire her. Another woman that worked there had low productivity for a couple of weeks due to stress and poor mental healthy, she got written up, and was told that she needed to get her productivity up to a certain level within two weeks and they'd have a meeting at the two week mark to discuss her progress and go from there. She got her numbers up above where they told her they needed to be within one week, and they fired her anyway that very same week. No meeting, or anything, and they confiscated the papers she kept track of her numbers on that proved she was hitting her goals. I was fired for "low productivity and time theft" less than two weeks after a meeting with my manager concerning my performance review where I was told that my numbers were good, I was hitting my goals, my accuracy was outstanding, that I was a valuable member of the team, and that my time management was great. I was fired over email, and the email wasn't even addressed to me because they fired multiple other people that day for the same BS reason and forgot to personalize the email. I didn't get so much as a write up or any sort of formal meeting regarding my transgressions (because there weren't any) they just needed to lay people off, because they started renting out their software to one of our biggest clients so they could do it themselves and not have to outsource it to RMS, so they lost a huge amount of work, and instead of laying people off, they made up excuses to fire us so that we couldn't draw unemployment. If you are lucky enough to get a job outside of operations or survive long enough to move up, it's not bad, but most employees begin in operations with the goal of moving up into a different department, and never make it. Their turn over rate is atrocious and they don't pay nearly enough for the hours you're expected to work or the amount of hell and stress they will put you through.
