Pros

Fantastic work environment. A pre-requisite to work in our department is a great personality, and as such we all get along famously. Everyone is down to earth, and has a good sense of humor. Although we get to goof around from time to time, when it comes to sales we are laser-focused. We can be the best customer service / sales reps we can possibly be as we are not commission-based; this lets us focus on taking care of the customer's needs over just making a sale - which allows us to establish a trust that breeds more sales. Great team support and leadership.

Cons

Sometimes communication between departments is an issue, but this is the nature of the beast with a fast-growing company.

Pros

In a way it's a good way to learn the smaller things you may not think about.

Cons

No leadership, no communication between management, don't you dare trust any of your fellow employees with even the slightest of personal information, and heaven for bid you express a personal opinion in a belief that isn't supported by thr company.

One of the best development teams I have ever worked with. Really like a family. Left because of location and compensation not matching my skill set.

Communication outside specific teams is horrible

Hello. Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. I agree that we have one of the best Dev teams ever, which you were a part of. It is noted that communication between departments could be enhanced...that was a key topic in our 2020 strategy meetings that we are making a priority. I appreciate your honesty and advice, and again , that you took the time to share. Truly wishing you all the best in your new position!

Pros

Great people. The teamwork within and between the different departments is impressive. Everyone is pulling together to get the job done.

Cons

The communication is much improved. The quarterly meetings have been well received by employees and the bi-monthly meetings have been good as well. With as much as the Company has grown, it's important to maintain the lines of communication.

Toxic Workplace Culture Built to Take Advantage of Their Workers

Pros

There are absolutely no pros. This organization will simply take advantage of you and throw you out like you mean nothing.

Cons

Word of advice: If you’re considering a role here, think twice. The organization lacks structure and is on the verge of falling apart. They employ deceptive and unethical business practices, taking advantage of customers who are simply trying to add a bit of fun to their lives in what is already a draining world. I have witnessed numerous cases where customers do not receive their paperwork and then get ghosted by the organization. The service department is no better; they consistently receive feedback that vehicles are returned in worse condition than when customers brought them in. When these issues were flagged to leadership, there was no updates and no action taken to remedy this flaw in the customer journey. Classic bait-and-switch sales tactics are used to attract customers and employees. Promises are made without any intention of keeping them, and employees are worked relentlessly without recognition or appreciation. Leadership frequently shifts blame onto employees and is unresponsive to feedback. No matter the situation, leadership will always find a way to make it the fault of their direct reports. When it comes to communication and business updates, good luck. Leadership has stated, "Communication is hard." If you seek an understanding of what’s happening in the business beyond your location, you will likely never receive an answer. Along with confusing requests and constantly changing standards and procedures, it’s surprising that this company is still operational. When asked about processes or organizational structure, leadership often speaks in circles and shows no desire to remedy ineffective systems. A toxic workplace culture has been created, where subordinates are blamed for failures while management takes credit for successes. There are no opportunities for growth, and they don’t even provide cost-of-living raises, which clearly reflects how management values its employees (they don’t). Their work-from-home policy makes little sense, and they are unwilling to accommodate employees unless they are on the verge of quitting. Meanwhile, leadership enjoys remote work while lower-level employees are expected to come into the office five days a week. Unless you want to feel taken advantage of and leave work feeling upset every day, I highly recommend avoiding a position here.
