Pros
I love working at Roofr.
I've been here since 2019 and It's great. I'm a roofer myself, dropped out of high school in grade 9, started roofing in my early 20's and worked my way up in to roofing sales.
I started using Roofr DIY when working sales for a company in Toronto and started talking to Nic Capobianco, and he realized that I was probably the best DIY designer he had ever witnessed, even better than himself. He knew he had to hire me, and here I am.
The culture at Roofr is great, we are like family, intense and passionate about the industry we serve but relaxed and chill when it comes to people and life. I love it.
I have a wife and 5 kids and working at Roofr not only helps me balance a busy schedule, but the benefits help me take care of my family's health.
Also, having the option to commute to the office is always great. I can hop on a train and go work with my Roofr fam for the day and still be home in time for dinner.
Cons
The only 2 negatives I can point out are that we work mostly remote so we don't see each other often enough and Alix doesn't like Keanu Reaves, but he is still accepted as one of us.
