Pros

Everyone at the organization is incredibly kind and inclusive, making it a wonderful place to work. The mission is great, and the work is enjoyable and fulfilling. I worked here full-time for six months as a co-op, and I am so thankful for how much I learned in such a short period of time. It was genuinely a great experience and I would highly recommend Root Cause to anyone searching for work in the social sector!

Cons

Work can be done remotely or at shared office spaces, so this could be seen as a con for anyone looking for a fully in-person position. However, I personally did not mind this, as I was still able to meet many people I worked with in-person at the shared office spaces. The people here also do a great job at helping you to feel connected to your team, even if you are working remotely.

Pros

Thoughtful, considerate, and understanding group of people with leadership that puts a lot of time into thinking about better ways to support staff.

Cons

There's been a lot of transition and restructuring over the past couple years which is all great, but has made it hard to understand whose responsibility is what sometimes. It's also fully remote and so depending on the role, your job can get very isolated at times.
