Pros

* Almost everyone at Ronin is fantastic - there are so many talented people and they are wonderful to work with. I loved (almost) everyone. * The mission is so compelling.

Cons

* There is one senior leader who always thinks they know better than the experts who work under them and actually know more / have more experience. * You don't want to get on this leader's bad side - they can turn leadership against you * There's now a culture of fear - people in that leader's org don't want to disagree with that person for fear of retaliation * Multiple people have gone to HR about it, but have not felt *at all* supported. The CEO seems to love this senior leader so I can't see how this is going to change. * Multiple people have left at least in part because of this leader * Leadership only ever tells you that everything is going great * Although execs at major hospitals are excited by Ronin's vision, the actual clinicians using the product aren't finding it valuable (yet?) Full disclosure - I was laid off along with several others, for financial reasons. So they might say that the negative reviews are from disgruntled employees who were laid off. I already knew that Ronin was not the place for me before the layoffs for all of the reasons I laid out. The layoffs came totally out of the blue, because, as I said, they had previously told us that everything is great and that funding wasn't an issue. The severance was joke.

Pros

Some of the people most incredibly talented people I’ve worked with get duped into joining Ronin.

Cons

There is a reason you don’t see many reviews in 2022. After an unsuccessful attempt to replace the CEO by now departed VPs, a new CPO joined and the culture almost immediately shifted. As an experienced person in both product and healthcare, I immediately sensed that she has little experience in product, healthcare, or leadership, yet she built a close relationship with the CEO and began to exert influence over many cross-functional teams. People from the product, engineering, and customer success teams have left due to her lack of skill and non-existent emotional intelligence. This made it incredibly hard to do my job because she couldn't prioritize business needs and frequently changed course. This was brought up by many others at the company and issues surfaced to HR, but we were ignored. Many have been fired for trying to speak up. Ronin actively stifles great and talented people. It’s a scary place.

Strong promises, little followthrough

Pros

Good health insurance and an all remote company

Cons

Benefits have been severely slashed, I'm not getting the PTO I was promised at hiring and my coworkers keep getting quietly fired for reasons nobody is sure of. You never know each day if you or someone you rely on is going to get let go, you can't take anything you're promised for granted because they will pull the rug out from under you at a moment's notice for no reason
