Pros

THE BRAND SCDA, & LOCATION. nothing else.

Cons

Did a research on LinkedIn profiles and thought the culture must be great as people are staying more than 5 years, to realised they are frogs in a well! First or 2nd career in their lives and probably gonna stay here forever. The seniors associate level doesn't take ownership of the project; POOR LEADERSHIP skills. Makes one wonder if they could hold the same position in other well establish company. Oh, they are the best! These seniors are good at pushing blames during reviews, agreeing with Principal, while they were the ones who gave "direction" and has seen your work plenty times. They doesn't speak for the team, neither have the courage to speak up for our design. VERY HIGH TURNOVER RATE FOR NEWBIES! *ALERT* They don't brief you on their standards, the hows and not. You just gotta figure out yourselves. you might wonder, "you can ask around". really you don't even know what to ask. they expect you to know. Lack of teamwork! Designers doesn't engage in office, They communicate over Zoom even when we are in office. Seniors doesn't attend for presentation even if they are in charge if the project?! Make sense? We whisper and text each other despite sitting nearby. Its unbelievable. We are working in a library? Poor management, seniors are not confident in presenting their work to principal. They can't give constructive feedbacks either. DESIGN MATTERS! DO NOT JOIN IF YOU WANT TO EXPRESS YOUR CREATIVITY. They REPEAT design from past projects, and that's your project reference or Mood image. No point spending time to propose something else. It will look too complicated for their liking, Save your time if you seek growth and career progression. Join to experience their toxic culture! Turn over rates are seriously high for newcomers. Don't ever feel bad for leaving. Be positive and treat it as long term internship at this branded company. BENEFITS? Annual leave given 14 days but forced to deduct 7days for Office closure during CNY and New year.

Pros

Company owner wellknown for HIS style of designs.

Cons

Not willing to accept new ideas or concepts. Does not abide to MOM rules... Forced COVID-positive colleagues to report for work in office. Got fined by MOM and was reported by the media. HR manager failed, a total flop. Does not know what she is doing. Not flexible with remote work arrangement. Does not care about employee welfare. Do not practice social distancing during COVID period. Do not listen to the staff feedback. Force staff to go on company block leave by deducting their leave. Management always flipping their words... Forcing staff to resign using ambiguous excuses that staff did not perform. Toxic admin environment.

Pros

Working in "well Known" design office

Cons

Upper management has zero says when defending design/work to the CEO, eventhough the team has worked a lot of hours on it. Imagine a few months of work could just gone to drain in 1 time review and restart all over again due in short time, people there are brainswashed that this happened "for better quality design" A lot of office politics, basically everyone is saving their own backside HR is not there to help the employees but to justify WHY office has to do what they have to do HIGH turnover, people come and go on monthy basis
