      Great internship experience with supportive mentorship

      Pros

      I did my lia internship within my education at Chas Academy to becoming a frontend developer. I got a great introduction to the company, courses to learn about the organisation and to the team i joined The Green Design system team. And a mentor Joacim Magnusson that guided me in how they worked with frontend development and what i should focus on. I also did my examcourse at SEB, i developed an accessibility tool to keep track on all the WCAG rules and that you could review your app/website with this tool.

      Good team and work-life balance, but outdated tools

      Old software (SAS, R), no AI agents (at least for now), repetitive and routine work.

      Great team and learning opportunities, but poor management communication

      A lack of clear communication and honesty on the part of management, fake internal recruitment, great culture and values, but only in theory.
