Pros

SGS has a history and a sense of purpose built on quality, integrity and trust, which makes it rewarding to work with both clients and colleagues . The role offers real breadth and influence — working across sectors, services and teams — and there is genuine opportunity to shape strategy, influence growth and develop people. I’m working with highly knowledgeable, committed colleagues who are passionate and care about doing the right thing and supporting one another. There is increasing strong cross-functional working between commercial, technical and operational teams which is becoming a real strength and making a positive difference.

Cons

As a large global organisation, complexity is inevitable and change can take time to embed consistently — but this also brings stability, scale and opportunity for those who enjoy a wide range of opportunities to collaborate and influence positive outcomes and drive growth and progress.
