Pros

If you ever get a chance to work with SoftHQ Inc., One of the best parts is that it offers remote opportunities, allowing excellent flexibility and work-life balance. And if you ever get a chance to work under Rishi’s leadership, consider yourself truly fortunate. He is an exceptional manager — a rare gem in the industry. He supports, listens to, and genuinely cares for his team. He appreciates everyone’s efforts and, even when mistakes happen, calmly explains how to improve. Working with him is both inspiring and empowering.

Cons

One of the major concerns I have about Softhq is the lack of accountability and recognition from upper management. Performance and consistent effort often go unrecognized, as decisions are frequently driven by internal politics rather than actual results or team contributions. Some account managers appear unfit for their roles. They often lack a clear understanding of how recruiting timelines work and what it takes to deliver quality candidates. Instead of properly reviewing resumes, some are rejected or submitted arbitrarily, with little regard for quality or recruiter input. Yet these same account managers are quick to take credit when things go right, and just as quick to shift blame when things go wrong. Recruiters are frequently left without updates on submissions and are sometimes met with unprofessional behavior — even yelling — when seeking clarification. This kind of treatment discourages open communication and fosters a toxic work environment. When placements don’t happen, it's often the recruiter who is held solely responsible, while account managers face no consequences for their own shortcomings. Another disappointing example of poor management practices was the treatment of a team lead who consistently drove business alongside the team. Instead of evaluating team performance as a whole, management focused solely on individual placements. Despite their leadership and contribution to the team's overall success, this person was terminated for not having personal placements — a decision that felt both unfair and demoralizing to the team. This culture of blame-shifting, lack of transparency, and disregard for collaborative success creates a hostile and unstable work environment. Improvements in accountability, communication, and performance-based recognition are urgently needed.
