Heater Module Operator/ Backup Lead
Pros
They tend to hire some great people to work on the line that are easy to get along with.
Cons
Everything. The point system, management, HR, quality, hours, point system, literally everything is wrong with this place, but no one is willing to make changes that can really help. You work 12 hours a day in a sweaty, borderline unsafe manufacturing facility with one personal day a year. They expect you to plan getting sick, family emergencies, and life changing events just to show up every day. Machines break down on a daily basis because techs can't do preventative maintenance on a 24/7 production schedule. Low staffed, so those who are working have to perform 3-6 people's jobs. Quality is sacrificed for numbers, but you sign all of these papers making workers accountable for quality errors, not the company. Benefits are worthless. They cover next to nothing with high deductibles and high probability of paying out of pocket. Deductibles are taken EVERY PAY PERIOD, instead of every month. After insurance deductibles and taxes, you're looking at about $9 an hour.
