I worked with STEP in 2021, and honestly, it was a rough experience. The work culture was far from ideal. My manager had no boundaries when it came to work hours—he would call at any time, even late at night, and expect you to be available. What made it worse was that everyone, no matter how experienced, had to sign a one-year bond. The company’s policies were just out of touch. I remember when a cyclone was predicted to hit the western coast, so understandably, no one could work that day. The next day, HR sent out an announcement that everyone would need to "compensate" by working the upcoming Saturday! Additionally, every Saturday, there was a mandatory demo. If you missed it, you were looked down upon, which added unnecessary pressure. Looking at the recent reviews, it seems like nothing has really changed.
