Pros

Family is probably a word you'll hear everyday at the office. Someone will usually always check up on you, you'll laugh everyday. This place is BUSY and PROFESSIONAL so you'll gain plenty of experience dealing with higher ups and how to do so. Taking charge and expressing ideas are welcomed so feeling snuffed is rare.

Cons

Unfortunately, the word 'Family' is used so often that its taken advantage of as well. There is plenty of nepotism to go around. You find yourself in the middle of weird, personal requests like taking their cars for inspections, going to the Apple store to fix their cracked tablets/phones, updating their phone plans, buying gifts for their friends, organizing their credit cards. Although I felt helpful and apart of the family, these personal requests took up A LOT of time, sometimes half the day, leaving my actual work, like planning parties, ordering supplies, and answering phones in last place.

Thank you for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated! As you mentioned, we highly encourage open communication as we believe that is the best way to improve. While we do acknowledge that there are things we need to work on, we would like to make it clear that all tasks requested from an employee are in the job description and disclosed during the interview. Your specific position included personal errands for some members of management. While there might be some tasks that an employee does not like to do, this is where we expect & encourage open communication to be able to help one another. We are sorry to only learn about this now. We will do our best to keep on improving, and we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

Great employees who work long hours but are under appreciated and under paid.

Cons

Bad management skills, horrible ethics, constant micro managing, lack of proper training, family environment invites management to abuse authority, not always truthful with external clients and carriers and poor communication to employees.

Pros

Reading most of the reviews are pretty accurate. A couple of extremely negative reviews from the same coworker that I heard, doesn't work their any longer. It was sad to read how extreme their experience was versus the rest of the team but that was evident how inaccurate the bitter reviews were. I loved everyone on my team and in the entire office including management & HR. She got raving reviews from the team including me. Sahouri has a very caring & successful culture.

Cons

i left due to other reasons but know I will never find a home like that office. Receptionist position needed more stability- Either they quit after some time or were promoted within the office. Every time someone new came into that position, there is a bit of a set back with training, getting familiar, etc. More consistency with that position would have made it easier since that person helps the entire team.
