      Unable to treat employees fairly

      Pros

      friendly colleagues. Team work spirit present between colleague.

      Cons

      HR and management team fail to protect employees against discrimination. No clue of employment rights and they prefer to dismiss instead of solving issues. Nepotism and poor leadership in dealing with cases.

      They pay well and there are great benefits

      Cons

      No processes in place to protect employees from bad management. I have seen really good people who were great at their job, be treated unfairly and pushed out of the company just because their manager did not like them for personal reasons. It is like a snake pit. Watch out for yourself if you are thinking of working there. No one will have your back.

      The desire to innovate and pioneer customer satisfaction drives everything the company does. It is hugely rewarding to be a part of, and you see the result of all your hard work every day. There is no tolerance for mediocrity. Only the best will last. Awesome colleagues. Great team spirit and sense of unity. High level of empowerment to execute and make a difference. Interesting industry with great demanding customers and partners undergoing a technological transformation lead by SD. I like a dynamic work environment and you get that at SD. The two owners and much of the senior management are smart, crazy, passionate and goes for what they believe in, which is a breath of fresh air. Integrity is the bedrock of the success of the company in the 7 year I have been a part of it. The disgruntled former employees that uses this forum paints an unbalanced picture. SD faces challenges like any other company but the company promotes positive change and follows through.

      Cons

      30 mins thinking, lunch and then another 30 mins of thinking and I still cannot come up with anything.
