      Amazing team, abysmal leadership

      Pros

      The vast majority of the people at Director level of below are incredible. They're real experts and specialists and almost everyone I work with is brilliant at their job. Sauce has managed to recruit and retain some of the very best people in the industry.

      Cons

      Leadership is a mess. Strategy is all over the place. Culture is toxic. The C Suite have 0 clue how the company is run and the ideology of product does not fit with the way customers buy and renew the software. All decisions are intransparent and take too long. There are no career or growth opportunities.

      A major issue is that some middle managers lack basic product understanding which leads to poor decisions and constant churn. Internal dysfunction is now visible in the product. Customer experience is being damaged by internal incompetence.
