Very dirty place

Pros

It’s a diverse company but the diversity is not at the top level of management at all.

Cons

1-extremely dirty work environment full of dust and there is no way out of that. 2-CEO claims that it’s such a good working environment and is so proud of the diversity, but that’s actually not true one bit. He doesn’t care about the employees or their working conditions. 3-This company doesn’t support women in the workplace at all. If you’re a woman, don’t even think of applying there, you will not be given any recognition by top level stakeholders. 4-when the company is doing bad, the CEO would rather decrease the employees’ wages instead of his own entirely. Overall a bad place to work at all senior management needs to be changed entirely.

I'm sorry you feel the way you do. A few things to respond to - 1. Yes, the warehouse is dirty, which is why we just invested in a $20,000 floor sweeper to use each night. Hopefully, that will help improve the dust. However, it's still a warehouse and not an office. 2 - We value everyone equally and have fantastic diversity—people from all over the world, men, women, and people who believe in different things. Do we have a male-dominated leadership team? Yes, because we are a small company. However, several women have moved into manager roles and are being trained for future leadership positions. 3 - When times are tough, employee pay cuts are sometimes necessary. When pay cuts do happen, the CEO, as a matter of principle, always takes double the pay cut of the hourly workers. For example, if the hourly employees take a 5% pay cut, the CEO takes a 10% pay cut. It sounds like your time here at Securis wasn't the best, and I'm sorry for that. We try hard but don't always get it right—despite this review, we wish you all the best.

Pros

that you can grow if you are a man and the managers like you

Cons

I do not recommend working at Securis, the environment in that place is very poor, the managers are the worst with no experience and do not know what the values are. Much less do you know the meaning of being a Manager and the president knows what happens outside his office but as they say out there he turns a blind eye and lets many things that are not appropriate continue to happen and injustices continue day by day. Sick days Securis doesn't even know what those days are, they give you vacation days along with your supposed sick days. and of the holidays mmm they had increased one but as the president of securis said that his employees are not from the government and they do not have to be receiving so many holidays and they do not have to have many vacation hours If you plan to work in that company I do not recommend it, the Managers do not give you opportunities to grow If you plan to work in that company I do not recommend it, the Managers do not give you opportunities to grow especially if you are a woman, the Managers do not believe in women and the racism that is seen because they give a man the opportunity to grow is seen well but if you are a woman, do not expect that you will grow in securis because they do not allow it

Securis provides 80 hours of PTO in your first year of employment plus six paid holidays. You are correct; we aren't the federal government; we are a small company, so our time off is pretty generous. We constantly evaluate our benefits and try to improve them for our employees. We feel like we have a very competitive benefits package that we offer. I'm very proud that most of our managers and leadership started as hourly workers and have grown into the role. The idea that women don't have equal opportunities at Securis is not accurate. Everyone has opportunities. Good luck, we wish you all the best.

Pros

401k , vision, dental and medical benefits

Cons

Securis is very bad company! So many employees has been terminated by the lower management. During pandemic many employees has infected by the Covid-19 but the company never give any assistance or compensation. The company force the employees to used the PTO instead or if you don’t have PTO they will right you up as absent and goes to termination.

To read this review is heartbreaking. Sometimes salaries of newer people are slightly higher than employees who have worked here before. We do our best to make those adjustments as necessary. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Securis has had less than 5 cases. All of them were a result of people contracting the illness from outside the work environment. With a company that has over 70 people, we feel that is an acceptable amount. We are doing our best to keep everyone safe. The CEO of the company has a 95% approval rating, as shown here on Glassdoor. You don't get that approval rating if you aren't approachable.
