If you are remote and not in SC or Charlotte don't bother. If You Don't Work In SC, don't bother
The environment circles around the Clique centered in SC and the people are treated exponentially better and given perks and assistance that are not offered anywhere else. There is a culture of entitlement for SC employees that makes it hard to have a good attitude and excitement about your job.
Executive management preaches a culture of flexibility and respect but front line managers have their "favorites" and it is grossly obvious that the favorites all reside in SC
HR does not treat all employees with the same fairness and equity as other individuals within the team. At times it is point blank a hostile and toxic work environment.
I know of an employee who needed to take FMLA leave for 3 months and was retaliated against for taking the leave to heal and was ultimately terminated. HR is in no way helpful, fair, empathetic or considerate when it comes to the employee. The stance of HR at Segra is to do every and anything possible that is in the best interest of Segra not the employee. Employees are expendable and treated as such. The HR department is full of people who are always ready to do a hatchet job on an employee at the whim of management and in some cases other employees.
Back stabbing is rampant. Team members smile at you and "befriend" you and will slam you to other team members and management as soon as you are out of ear shot. If you do accept a position at Segra, my advice to you is to keep your head down, do your job and trust no one.
