Nothing is good when having to deal with incompetent senior manager (HRBP)

Dealing with incompetent senior manager who do not have much HR experience and can't handle employees who will speak up for rights and have more HR knowledge than her. This really shows she can only handle employees who are "yes" employees. No proper handover on the first day, just copied you in the email and expect you to know what to do, being new, definitely some guidance need to be given to understand the dept procedure well. not only there is no guidance, asking her questions, her reply was "not sure as she very long never touch on the work". Don't understand how can such senior manager can lead a team when she don't give solutions to her employees, no communicate with her team and no teamwork at all. The management have their own opinion, perhaps being incapable is alright, so long you are a "pet" who do anything that being tasked be it right or wrong and you will be well protected. And also, not proper SOP and many non-compliance matters too. No budget for anything and only go for free activities and expect high returns.
