      Worst managers in the history of any company

      Customers are nice and the area is descent

      Cons

      managers don't listen when applying for holidays, which most of the time doesn't get approved. No AC, heating and neither warm water staff area and most office rooms are dirty because company dosnt feel the need to clean. giving feedback to regional managers and not listening is very rude. everyone is complaining about ac, heating, and warm water and they say they will fix it, but instead, sent us 2 fans, and still no warm water for years.

      Thank you for taking the time to write this review. You have been working for us for quite some time so it is hard to understand how these issues have not been resolved assuming that they have been raised. You need to raise these issues with People Operations if you cannot resolve them with your Store Manager or Regional Store Manager

      1. ZERO COMMISSION - in the beginning the company used to offer a decent commission pay out but then it was changed quarterly. There is no system which calculates commission payout, it’s all a guess. Literally. 2. HEALTH AND SAFETY COMPROMISED - no warm water available to wash your hands, in summer no air conditioning, no refreshments (drinkable water) when it’s supposed to be provided according to the handbook, no air filtration - dusty air particles always leading to sneezes. 3. INDIRECT DISCRIMINATION - Upon joining the company, investigations happened on heavy grounds for no proof, always felt like the regional manager (Steve Smith) tried trap me and my colleagues in a false investigation to discard my contract. No correct procedures were taken by the regional manager, making secret visits and conducting invention hearings without a notice - unlawful practice. 4. NO INSURANCE LICENSE? - the company forces us to sell insurance packages (apple care) without even having a license from Apple to sell insurance. 5. LIST CAN GO ON FOREVER.

      Appreciate you taking the time to write a review. Disappointing to hear that, although you were with the company for over 3 years, which is quite a considerable period of time, you waited until you had left to raise issues that could have been addressed and resolved had you raised them while working for Select.

      You have taken the time to write a review which we thank you for. You raise some very serious issues in your review and make some very damning allegations so we would strongly recommend that you contact People Operations directly to discuss the issues so that they can be addressed. As there is some conflicting information in the review, it is hard to establish whether you are a current or a former employee. If you are a current employee these issues should be raised with a Store Manager or a Regional Store Manager in the first instance.
