Pros

Multicultural and located in Liverpool city center. It's close by the train station moorsefields and lots of shops around. Also close to Albert Dock where you can enjoy your lunch. Just out of school and looking for a first short term job in sales, this would be an option.

Cons

Your every move is tracked. Meaning they can tell what program you are using and for how long. This was initially to help you improve. However now it's being used as a beating stick to say if you are productive or not. Newly introduced is that you have to do 2 hours of call time or make at least 30 calls a day. So the stress is high, motivation is low with the majority of employees and lost feeling of trust. They will use disciplinary to scare off people and set example. To set expectations, you will be unlikely to progress in your career. This do company new regulations and client requirements. Bonus wise, min requirement is now 80%, past used to be 50%, with unachievable targets. Most managers are from the UK and have no sense of culture differences. Lost in translation is a very common phrase here. Some managers will favour native people above others. Don't be fooled, new direction of the company is cold calling. Renewals will only be a small part of it all. You will have a basic salary, 16k, which is underpaid for the work that you'll need to do. Other companies will pay you at least 4K more a year for the same work. Benefits: 20 days holidays + 8 public holidays Private healthcare Stock share (dropping down in value every day)

A company to make you feel worthless

Pros

Entry level positions are at a slightly higher rate. The people are friendly. I cannot think of any other positive statements.

Cons

This is a sales company and no mistake, if you are not in sales you do not matter. You get no training, no development, your manager will not have time for you as they have 20 other people and a million things to do. Do not expect a bonus, or a random one off, you will not get it. The company doesn't know what it wants and doesn't share with employees. A decision can be made and it'll be weeks before anyone below a VP hears, even then it's idle gossip. They fire senior management without a second thought and don't backfill. They don't backfill as a rule anyway. You get few holidays and are limited to when you can take them. There is a PTO policy that applies to everyone, unless management likes you, or dislikes you. The sales teams are held hostage at the end of each month having to stay late because management can't correctly forecast, or sales don't know that they have 3 months to hit 1 number and maybe they should work for those 3 months.

Pros

Free coffee, at happy hour you get a beer if they're not all gone. Just writing this because Glassdoor told me I had to write at least 20 words...

Cons

The leadership team and management team used to be experienced and inspiring but now it's embarrassing. No one knows what they're doing apart from a very small few. Coaching banded about, reality is moving goal posts which we're supposed to be 'coached' through. The company used to be amazing and I used to look up to and aspire to be my manager and the centre head but now it's basically a playground. Good people pushed down, loud people and managers' mates pushed up. Data and processes are a joke. Your PC and phone activity will be monitored very closely.
