Pros

Honestly absolutely nothing, from top to bottom.

Cons

Refurbished pc's / bootlegged systems / residential printers / micro managed by CEO and his chum / 35% off employee discount...off full retail price where most companies offer off cost / have to buy your own laptop and no compensasion etc

Pros

You are exposed to new and trendy products, albeit their steep prices. Nonetheless, the products are good.

Cons

Out of the many, many places I had worked, this has to be one the most dehumanizing places to date. I stayed only because I adored my manager; however, the head office was beyond corrupt and incredibly cliquey. My district manager constantly lied about doing store visits and would watch us on the camera (which is legally wrong as there was no suspicion of theft). She was beyond unhelpful and the only reason she was promoted was due to her personal friendship with higher-ranking officials. There is no room for growth because as mentioned, everyone at the head office has been working with Showcase for years and the inner circle was promoted. Their favourite way to save money was to cut back on hours making it difficult to have overlap with other employees, meaning only one employee was on a shift to do cash, merchandising, inventory and the many, unnecessary display changes. The manager had to create schedules that were both legal and adhered to labour laws while sticking with minimal hours. This job and these employers are not worth the barely any money you are going to make.
