      Great people, but no future.

      Pros

      Fantastic people to work with, both professionally and socially.

      Cons

      Senior leadership appear to have no understanding of how to run an organisation at scale. Ignoring (or perhaps being unaware of) all the learnings of the last twenty years. Changes are coordinated (centrally, and unsuccessfully) across the whole company, instead of empowering individual teams to own their product. Despite this, there is no strategic overview or prioritisation, so the changes are often contradictory and need to be abandoned part way through.

      Pros

      - Friendly team in UK office - Fun team get-togethers in Brighton - Talented people around, even if you don't get enough time to discuss with them

      Cons

      Pressure from the top to get projects done asap, with little regard for sustainability. Failure to break projects down into stages with internal releases. That sets the teams up for failure when there are inevitably bugs being found at far-too-late a stage Senior management do not ensure they get feedback from teams. Everything is filtered through middle management. Leads to poor decisions such as porting the legacy app to an entirely new one rather than decomposing it piece by piece.

      Innovative company making smart moves in the space

      Pros

      - Open, positive culture - Leadership position in the industry, recognized by Gartner and Forrester - Really robust tech with a lot of new capabilities in the past year - Strong leadership team with some great additions/changes in the past year - On a solid growth trajectory for long-term value

      Cons

      - Some post-pandemic growing pains - A bit of turnover this past year has shaken up some teams, but it's been a big improvement for culture and performance
