Pros

Nothing. You’ll just get a headache from working here.

Cons

Incompetent I have no idea how these people got into a manager/leadership position - it’s shocking when you meet people like this and leaves you with a terrible feeling in your stomach. My only hope is that any other company who hires them can see through them and that they are leeches on the people working for them. They do not think “how can I help my team?” They only think... how can I survive another day so I don’t get fired myself. Scummy, pathetic way of living and these people must have zero respect for themselves if this is the most they can get out of life. It’s sad, highly passive and I hope they get what they deserve. I HOPE I NEVER ENCOUNTER YOU EVER AGAIN.

Pros

You'll be working for bafoons but you'll learn about the industry. I wouldn't recommend anyone to join especially if you already have BI experience because then you truly have nothing more to gain by being here. There are far more interesting companies to join if you already have this experience.

Cons

Inexperienced management that can't do their jobs. I doubt they could even do an AE's role (or if they have themselves) as there's a massive disconnect between what's possible and what they tell you to do. The only thing that managers use to fill that gap is nepotism leading to lots of people missing targets and high churn. The only people who seem to be accountable for their performance here is the AE. The reality is you are not given all the tools to be successful here and the culture here is the worst I've ever seen... it's disgusting. They don't care about you development here; just themselves.

Pros

None. Stay away. All the managers fall into one of these categories: 1) Low IQ (You don't want to work for someone that you're smarter than) 2) Incompetent (They've stayed at BI companies for such a long time they've risen to the top without much effort on their part) 3) Psychotic: They have serious ego/mental problems. I feel sorry for them, their family and anyone who comes into contact with these people.

Cons

Stats: Sisense is a NET LOSER of SALES EMPLOYEES and is STRUGGLING TO HIRE. Headcount for sales employees: Last 6 months: Decline by 16% Last 12 months: Decline by 25% They are also slow to react... Last 3 months the job openings for sales positions have only increased by 3%. WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO JOIN A SALES ORG THAT IS EITHER PURPOSFULLY OR BY SHEER INCOMPETENCE CUTTING THE SIZE OF ITS SALES TEAM!? Also there has been crazy amounts of changes in leadership from the Chief Product Officer to the Chief Financial Officer.

While we are open to constructive feedback, we do not disclose private company information on a public forum nor do we condone any personal attacks against our employees. We will say that the statistics you cite are not accurate. If they were accurate this review would be in violation of Glassdoor’s guidelines which prohibit the sharing of proprietary company data. It sounds like Sisense was no longer the right fit for you and that’s understandable. As a long-time Sisenser, thanks for all your hard work and we wish you the best in the future.
