Pros

Working in a committed and fun team. Everyone always looking for ways to improve systems and workflows. Celebrating the wins. Knowing that you've got backup and excellent support. Constantly learning new thing which keeps it exciting.

Cons

With Covid and working from home, you can feel a little isolated.

Pros

Learn a lot about their products. The company welcomes innovation. Colleagues are fun to work with and have easy access to management.

Cons

You get victimized by management if you raise something you are unhappy about. They will make it hard for you to do your job and will always be on your back looking for "mistakes" so they can use that against you when it is time to negotiate your salary. They also use Slack to micromanage employees and can sometimes embarrass you in front of colleagues. The management will make you feel like it is a safe space for you to talk but they will use whatever you say against you. They disregard mental health issues when it comes to their employees. They only care about making customers happy without looking at the effects that could have on the employees. They do not have team-building activities.

Pros

One of the key themes at Snapplify is continual improvement and growth - and this is entrenched into everything we do. Whether it's training to ensure that staff are equipped with all the necessary tools or implementing systems to finetune and improve the quality of the service provided, everything is constantly reviewed to ensure we're the best we can be. Regular peer and department meetings ensure that knowledge is shared while individual manager sessions allow for personal needs/requirements to be shared. Management is extremely accessible and very open to any suggestions of how to improve. And improvement applies at every level and sector of the business - noone is exempt from the goal of continual improvement. And problem is tackled as a team with everyone in the trenches working on a solution. Definitely a feeling of a whole company working towards a common goal. This is an exciting time to be in edtech as the market is moving fast and companies need to react to their needs. Snapplify is customer-focused but listens to both staff feedback as well as customer feedback. You need to be passionate about technology and education as well as enjoying a creative, ever-changing work environment. Snapplify is a great place for constantly learning new ways and processes.

Cons

No pension or medical aid benefits but most people usually handle this privately and don't necessarily want to join a company-run scheme.
