Pros

Smart and experienced CEO; good product.

Cons

Toxic culture!! It does not welcome diversity at all. Their mission statement should be: Growth at any cost! Inexperienced management with childish behaviour. It's not a good company for more mature individuals; it feels like being in school with group divisions and instances of bullying. It was amusing to me at times, as I didn't expect such behaviour to exist in a company like Snowflake. So, think twice before joining; make sure to assess your prospective team and thoroughly evaluate your manager's experience. Higher management is nice, but they tend to overlook things. They are extremely busy, so if your manager mistreats or even bullies you, there is little you can do and no action will be taken by them. HR is also disappointing; there are no exit interviews at Snowflake, whether you resign or get fired. They simply don't seem to care. In my opinion, this is not a company that takes matters seriously, and there is a lot that needs to be addressed.

Pros

Great Product Great Marketing Amazing Office Smart people (not in sales)

Cons

- Toxic middle management. Managers have unrealistic expectations and set you up for failure. - Internal politics (Internal PR is more important than results. If you follow blindly, you are not part of the cult. - Onboarding is shocking. - PG is everything although there are 1 SDR/4 AEs, no account managers or CSMs. - Management by fear and “need to be constantly uncomfortable”. Managers interview candidates (although no open position) and tell you about it to make you feel instantly replaceable. - No diversity. No diversity. 0. - Almost forgot. WLB is a joke. Employees with more than 4 years of tenure joined in the golden years before the IPO. Everyone else either leaves or gets fired. Before you join this place, speak to former employees.
