Pros
As an accountant I learnt a lot in opening year. However this was down too two factors. The accounts were a mess when I joined so hands on experience figuring them out where a valuable opportunity as a young accountant. My line manager. Was a management accountant who started a couple months before me. He was a great mentor.
Cons
Leadership. 4 directors all seemingly wanting to take the company in different directions. Poor strategy and communication from the top down. Lack of willingness to work with junior members of staff. Poor hiring practices. High staff turnover. They have put themselves in a hole and are fighting to dig out off it.
