The team are fab and the work I do is varied and enjoyable. Flexible working with no core hours and you can choose to work from home or attend the office.

Pros
Flexible working, can work from home or the office (your choice), dogs allowed in the office, casual dress code, a great team of colleagues, opinions and input listened to and considered, staff events and regular interaction to minimise isolation as we are remote first. A really positive workplace and I have the best manager I’ve ever had in my working career.

Pros
The company (and MD) focuses on its people first. It champions wellbeing, a healthy work life balance through homeworking and flexible hours, CPD and training, staff events etc. It is clear that decisions are made with staff in mind and staff are also encouraged to contribute ideas and ask questions.
Cons
There aren't many! The company isn't very big (about 50 people) therefore progression could be a challenge however the company supports progression and training wherever possible. Currently the team are working remotely which is a challenge if you are used to being in the office and around your colleagues.

We appreciate progression is more of a challenge in a smaller company however we encourage everyone to have a development plan with their line managers support. We are hopeful the office can re-open this year.

I have worked for Software Solved since 2018 and can genuinely say it is the best company I have worked for! There is a positive culture of authenticity, inclusion and empowerment at all levels of the organisation. The management team, led by MD Lindsay Lucas, genuinely puts people first at every turn and strives to make employees feel valued, trusted and supported. The need for a good work-life balance is encouraged and respected, and the work is interesting, varied and challenging without being unduly stressful or pressured. A great place to work!
