Pros
Sometimes you can be lucky and get an interesting project
Cons
- Witch hunting and inconsistent evaluation process - Complete lack of transparency and random actions from management - Lack of general vision and proper communication with the lower management - Some of the producers hired have very low skills even as project management, but are expected to lead a team as producers + products + everything at once - Producers had to calculate the financials as well and do other weird responsibilities - Hard-ass time organization: you need to track your work hourly and every hour counts to rework, Not your results. Tables need to look nice - Your place in the company depends on your relationships with "proper" leads and management - Sometimes badly skilled management and team managers - Lack of product culture overall and work for hire trait: charts and KPIs that were shown on the production department "wins" would make eyes of every skilled producer or product person bleed
