Pros

People generally have a good (dark) sense of humour because we were all sad and frustrated but didn't want to cry in front of each other :)

Cons

Wow, working here was such a PLOT TWIST! They're all like "yeah, check out our cool culture and openness to improve!" And then you get straight M. Night Shyamalan'd! If you like to fight with the CRM, have the added excitement of it randomly freezing or deleting data, you'll probably enjoy working here. The CRM is like the "Final Boss" of every day. Speaking of bosses... I quickly learned what “old boys club” meant by working here. Diversity, both in thought and demographic in upper-level roles is pretty much not a thing. I could rant about their sales "techniques" for a _while_, but I think all I have to say is: Cold Calls. Yeah. Seriously. In 2018.

This company's owner is so far removed from the day to day and has no clue that this company is an old boys club with archaic software and poor best practices. They hire friends to become managers and skip over qualified, tried, tested and true employee's with more than sufficient qualifications. Management treats adults who have years of experience like children and talk to them in very sarcastic and demeaning ways. They keep employees segregated from all the other departments and don't allow them to speak to them unless it's through their direct manager. The product that is being sold to customers is old, antiquated and not in the customers best interests. Much more cost effective systems with more functionality can be bought from several other software providers. Too add to the recent review of a "new building" that has been said every year for the last 8 years and nothing has or will change.

Fully remote Fellow coworkers chill Can move holiday days off within a month

Cons

Company seems kind of broke, no laptops for workers (despite being full remote), remote machines now great, not many benefits. No slack premium for fully remote somehow Outdated technology, if you have to work on the non web-app project, good luck Even if working on web-app project, a lot of it is a tech debt time bomb Micromanagey upper management Lower end of pay for Vancouver
