Pros

Base Salary, Flexible Schedule, Covered Travel and per diem.

Cons

Zero accountability and backbone in the leadership. plans and expectations were constantly changing depending on who the ownership and management spoke to that day. if you weren’t one of the owners buddies it was incredibly difficult to get anything done. All promises of promotion and growth were empty and could not trust leadership to make good on their word. The owner with zero sales experience decided to hire their investors best friend. Her job was to bring in outbound enterprise deals but quickly demanded everyone else’s deals which we were forced to accept and she still couldn’t close them. Ed let go of the majority of his sales team due to her not liking them and wanting full control and didn’t even care to do it himself. Had our Hr person and a consultant do it

Pros

Not much positive to say, the only good thing about the company was the SDR team that was always positive and extremely hard working. Unfortunately that is not recognized at the company.

Cons

Upper management is like a click, you’ll feel like youre constantly judged. One of the co founders will look at all of your slacks, emails, calls. He will constantly share stories about how we should be working after hours. Everyone seems to know everyone and if youre a new hire from outside you’ll definitely feel it. They don’t really know what they are doing, they promote there people to jobs like SDR manager with zero experience in sales. I believe 3 of the hire ups are related but not 100% positive. Overall it was a really toxic work environment. Dont be fooled by their misleading interviews where they make it seem like its all great. Failing company in my opinion. They should hire a CEO / CFO and need to restructure their sales, maybe bring in a experienced VP of sales.

A Company Culture of Toxicity and Disregard

Pros

The people were the reason I joined... but then they fired them all.

Cons

SqlDBM is a prime example of a company that values profit over people. The toxic work environment, fostered by a power-hungry individual, is incredibly unfortunate. The company's leadership failed to address the rampant mistreatment of employees, allowing a single individual to create a hostile and demoralizing atmosphere. Benefits are mediocre at best, and parental leave is virtually nonexistent. The company's callous disregard for its workforce culminated in a mass layoff conducted by an external consulting firm, a move that speaks volumes about the leadership's lack of empathy and integrity. If you value your mental health and career progression, steer clear. They are a master of empty promises, offering lip service to employee well-being while consistently failing to deliver on its commitments.
