After having a few bad experiences in the industry, starting from the first day of my interview at SRK I felt comfortable and a genuine warmth upon meeting my future employer. Leading into my training, my supervisor really took the time to train me on the ins and outs of my role and was approachable when asking for further guidance, ultimately setting me up for great success in this role. I was hired as a Sales Assistant and throughout my employment at SRK, I felt that I was heard and valued; something I had experienced was very hard to find starting out in this industry. I was actively involved in sales meetings allowing me to gain understanding of the background of the work I was assisting with. Within a few months of starting at the company I was given many opportunities to grow my personal success in the company by managing my own accounts. Overall, working at SRK for a year and a half was a good, fun experience! The MOST important quality that is easily over looked is that throughout my employment my supervisors demonstrated leading with respect and kindness. This has left a lasting impression and has aided in wanting to maintain a relationship with my former supervisors and coworkers.
