Cons
1. The product struggles in an established market because client feedback is ignored in favour of developing unnecessary or irrelevant new features. 2. Sales prioritise aggressive tactics that can mislead clients about the products features, leaving clients unimpressed. Clients often find that the product doesn't work as promised which requires additional work by the Integration team, resulting in excessively long onboarding timelines or remediation efforts before it can work as expected. 3. The firm lacks regulatory and compliance expertise, which undermines sales efforts and hinders client acquisition. 4. There is no meaningful professional development in place, even basic 1-1 meetings with managers are nonexistent. 5. The marketing is a bit naff and disconnected from the product’s actual capabilities, which again explains the failure to attract large clients. 6. Holding company wide all-hands meetings to paint a positive picture of the company strategy and progress, only to quietly lay off employees a week later, demonstrates poor leadership and erodes trust across the company.
