Employee Satisfaction and Engagement are oxymoron in this company
Pros
You don't work there. The owners have been trying to sell this company every time they get into a fight. So far they can't a sucker to buy this dying business. If you are in sales, there is a reason why there's a job posting every week.
Cons
Owners have very little respect for people, they lie to their employees and clients. It is quite hypocritical and unethical when a company sells services to help companies improve employee engagement, when the company has a dismal track record with their own employees. Every time an employee survey is conducted, the owners are surprised by truth and find one or more employees to fire. But to be balanced, I need to be fair the reality is that these owners don't understand the meaning of terms "employee satisfaction" and "employee engagement". Owners love to use jargon and industry terms that they don't understand. If you are a sales professional you can look forward to becoming a member of the sales alumni club, 27 members and growing. The owners have blamed 27 sales professional, not themselves, for the companies failure to grow. A company re-living the same year for 25 years. Try selling substandard product(s) with a damaged brand and unintelligent marketing "strategy".
