1. When I was there Summit had acquired P&G's former partner's business so there was stress with trying to transfer everything over and still be profitable. It made the job exciting, but there were also long weeks.
2. We lacked an onsite HR rep the majority of the time I was there which would have made protecting the company's interests easier when common conflicts arose that could be efficiently handled by HR. Nothing serious or that involved me, but could be distracting.
3. Compensation was low, but they also hired me without much direct experience in the field and taught me things that has transferred into career success. Some kind of yearly compensation plan would have probably kept more people on for longer that started out low.
