Pros

I joined TDA straight out of school as a Business Administration Apprentice, and over the years I grew into the roles of Office Manager and eventually Operations Manager. Looking back, I realise just how much I learned, how much fun I had, and how deeply I value the years I spent there. What made it special wasn’t just the opportunities, it was the people. The co-founders and leaders are genuinely kind, approachable, and deeply committed. The CEO, especially, was consistently understanding and supportive of me. I always felt like I could be honest, ask questions, make mistakes, and still be treated with respect and encouragement. The culture is flexible, and trusting. You’re given independence to shape your role, make decisions, and grow quickly if you’re willing to put in the work.

Cons

The main challenge I noticed was around communication when people were unhappy. Some concerns weren’t shared openly until after someone had already left, which made it harder for the company to address things constructively. I’ve seen a few reviews that don’t reflect the reality I lived for eight years. The company was going through a very tough period ( as were many Recruitment agencies at the time), and those comments feel more like expressions of personal frustration than an accurate representation of the organisation or its leadership. This is just my perspective, but I think it’s an important one to share.

Autonomous working environment Trust Senior leadership (Product leader) best I ever worked with! Tech leader who left the business was just a great!

Cons

They went through some tough times like many other businesses throughout the market change and made some poor hires at the end of 2022 some of who are still at the business

Pros

- Both Founders have been the best at what they do in their career but have employed/promoted internally people they believe have ideas, smarts, and 'the know-how" to take the company forward. - Top commission structure, remote flexibility and an adult approach to measuring performance - Through my tenure they have consistently funded and invested the newest and best rec-tec on the market so that their is no excuses when it comes to doing the job required of a 360 recruiter. - There is some brilliant talent in Leadership positions who are well connected and coming from a mix of top backgrounds such as Xcede, Burns Sheehan but most importantly doing the same role expected of a 360 recruiter so understand the challenges of todays market. - Multiple team members who have history of billing over £500k in revenue per year, and turning £150k Billers into £300k billers. - Solid client base with impressive case studies to match. - An excellent Ops team, the Leader of Ops team makes this difficult role so much easier.

Cons

- It is hard to quantify specific cons over 5+ years of tenure because each year has come with many ups and downs like any other business. - More communication across the business, which would be easily fixed. - If you are looking for trips/incentives over a top commission structure and fair market pay then this probably is not the company for you.
